Coming from photography and experimental music, my work moves between still and moving image, thus video and video stills, photography, projections, photo film, video document and electronic sculpture, recently expanded to include mixed media and drawing. I locate myself in the material space. The space offered to me by history, politics, art history, the media, the traditional knowledge of mankind, past, present and the archive of my works and material collections. My themes are influenced by my studies in philosophy: consciousness and the subconscious, memory, space, but also a fascination with light in all its colorful and atmospheric forms and patterns.
