I intervene in spaces with site-specific, participatory installations. I take photos, produce moving images in 4K, draw on photos and paper. I change the parameters of colour, direction and speed of my moving images with digital instruments. My method as a contemporary intermedia artist in the field of appropriation art is interdisciplinary. I produce colours for my mixed-media works and apply them to handmade papers and canvases. I invent signs of unknown, forgotten languages of women, which I draw on primed canvases. Through my practice I attempt ‘religio’ (reconnection, self-awareness – not religion) for myself. For the viewer/passers-by, this ‘religio’ is created through large-format multi-channel projections with an immersive effect that temporarily transform the urban or exhibition space. In addition to the ephemeral (e.g. light, clouds, shadows), the accidental, the emergence, the passing away, I capture what is missing or underrepresented in the general social discourse. That is why I have been documenting the emergence of art actions and especially of female art and artists (in their works) since the 1980s, both with photos and with video documents.
